You are travelling for business and your flight will be paid for by your employer, school etc.
- Choose either the Individual or Company tab on the Billing Information page while making your booking and complete the required fields.
- If your travel is personal, please use the Individual tab. For registered users, your personal details will be automatically populated. You can make modifications to these details during the reservation process if needed.
- If your company is covering the expenses and you require an invoice, ensure to provide complete company details including the company name, address, and tax number.
- We automatically issue electronic invoices and send them to the email address provided during the reservation process within 5-7 working days after the booking is made.
- Alternatively, you can download the invoice from the 'upcoming bookings' section of your WIZZ profile. This option is available for up to 6 months after the booking is created.
- If you are unable to locate the invoice there, kindly request it by submitting a claim form. Please note that it may take up to 30 days to process your request and receive the invoice.
Information about the Electronic Invoice:
- The electronic invoice includes an electronic signature and timestamp generated using PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) technology.
- The signature represents Wizz Air Hungary and is equipped with a "qualified business certificate."
- Our electronic invoicing system complies with Hungarian regulations.
- By default, we generate the invoice with the details you have provided.
- If you require a paper copy of the invoice, kindly request it by submitting a claim on the website.
- There is a fee of €3.00 for creating and sending a paper invoice.
- Paper invoices will be mailed to the address you provided during the booking process.
- If you have received an incorrect invoice, please get in touch with our Live Chat or Call Centre agents. They will assist in making the necessary changes and provide you with a new invoice.
- Should you wish to amend the billing information after completing a booking, please contact our Call Centre. A fee of €5.00 is applicable for changing billing information, and this can only be done within 6 months after the booking is created.
Please note the following limitations regarding invoice changes:
1. Reservations cannot be divided for invoicing purposes. If you require separate invoices for multiple travelers (or their companies), each individual should have a separate reservation. However, subsequent modifications, such as purchasing additional services, will be invoiced separately.
2. The currency on the invoice cannot be altered. Even if you choose a payment currency different from the departure city's currency, the invoice will be issued in the original currency of the reservation (i.e., not in the payment currency).
Wizz Air Hungary issues electronic invoices to customers via email. The attached PDF file serves as the electronic original invoice issued by Wizz Air Hungary.
Based on the relevant Hungarian legal regulations (2001/XXXV Act on Electronic Signature; 2000/C Act on Accounting; 23/2014. Ministry for National Economy decree), a company is allowed to issue its invoices also in electronic form. The electronic invoice is a file of special format which contains the image of the traditional invoices issued by Wizz Air Hungary as a PDF document (complying with the Hungarian invoice format requirements as specified in the 2007/CXXVII VAT Act) and (inside the PDF file) the advanced electronic signature and timestamp of the invoice created with PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) technology, in line with the Hungarian regulations mentioned above. The signature is made on behalf of Wizz Air Hungary and is equipped with the "qualified business certificate" of a qualified certifier engaged for this by Wizz Air Hungary. The electronic invoice file includes all the information necessary to validate the certificate attached to the signature and the timestamp of the invoice.
The recipient is obliged to store the electronic invoice in electronic format – similar to paper invoices – if the invoice is to be used for bookkeeping purposes.
To access and verify the origin and authenticity of the electronic invoice, it is recommended to install Adobe Reader 9 or any newer version. If you encounter any installation issues, please contact your system administrator for assistance.
