Passenger type change

If you chose a wrong passenger type during the booking creation or your child turned 14 years old or 2 years old before the return flight, you might need to change the passenger type (adult, child) or passenger details.

If you made a mistake during booking creation and chose a wrong passenger type, you might need to change the passenger type from Adult to Child. It can be done online in your WIZZ Account only if there is at least one more adult in the booking. Otherwise, the change will not be performed as children should always travel with an accompanying passenger.

To make the change, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your WIZZ Account.
  2. Select your booking by clicking "Details" under your flight.
  3. In the right corner of the Booking Overview page, click on the "Make changes" button.
  4. You can change passenger type in "Change passenger details" menu.

If there are no other adults in the booking, please contact our Live Chat or Call Centre Services.

  4. You can change passenger type in "Change passenger details" menu.
  • Children older than 2 weeks old and under 2 years old are considered infants and should travel on an accompanying adult’s lap.
  • A fee will be charged when adding infant to the booking.
  • Only one infant can travel on one accompanying adult's lap.
  • Rear-facing infants' car seats can be taken on board if an additional seat is purchased.
  • infants must be under the age of 2 on the date of both the departure and the return flights.
  • If on the day of the return flight the infant is over 2 years old, then they should travel on a separate seat and passenger type should be changed to Child. Please contact our Call Centre Services to perform the change.
