Please keep in mind that the disruption event must have occurred on the day of travel. If it has occurred outside of 24 hours from your departure, please contact the airline to discuss your rebooking options.

Most bookings are eligible for Disruption Assistance. If this is available to be purchased for your flight, you will be offered it during the booking flow. Please note that this product is not available after booking.

Flight disruptions are covered for the following reasons:

  • A delay for more than the time specified to you when purchasing the Service
  • A cancellation of your flight within 24 hours of departure

The cause of the disruption does not need to be attributable to the airline but must be outside of your control. There are only a few exceptions that you can check in the Terms & Conditions.

You will be presented with a set of alternative flight options:

  • From the same origin city to the same destination city
  • On the same day or next day following your initial flight departure
  • In the same or similar corresponding fare class as the original booking
  • With a price per passenger below the Service Cap specified to you when purchasing the Service

Once you’ve selected the flight option of your choice, we’ll rebook you and send you the booking confirmation.

Note that you can still use your return flight (if any) as initially booked.

In some circumstances, there may be no alternative flight options available. In that case, you may choose to receive a service satisfaction guarantee refund.
The Disruption Assistance fee is a service fee and is not refundable, even if you cancel your booking.
If you make a voluntary change to your flight prior to your departure time, your Disruption Assistance Service will remain valid.
For bookings originally made for two or more passengers that are subsequently split into separate reservations, the Service will remain attached to the reservation with the original reference. Any subsequent reservations generated by the split will not benefit from the Service
